At Hampshire Sewing Machines we sell a comprehensive range of sewing machines and overlockers. Our Service Centre specialises in the following brands:- Juki, Brother, Janome, Toyota, Elna, Singer, Bernina, Husqvarna, Jones, Frister & Rossmann, Bernette, Babylock, New Home and Silver sewing machines. 

Our customers extend from The Royal Navy , initially from the days when HMY Britannia was in service, maintaining their sewing machine and more recently to supplying HMS Kent, HMS Daring and HMS Ark Royal, now sadly de-commissioned. We regularly support Schools and charities with our services and obviously the general public not only from Fareham but from the areas surrounding Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport, Eastleigh, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Winchester, Chichester, Alton, Petersfield, Guildford, Basingstoke, Worthing, The Isle of Wight and beyond to the London regions, Reading etc. We are also happy to supply customers in Europe, including France, Germany, Spain and the Baltics. 
We do all repairs on the premises, are not associated with any other business locally and give you a full years guarantee on all work undertaken.

We have been trading since 1983 in Fareham but have in total over 30 years experience of the sewing machine trade, starting with The Singer Company in Sales and Repairs and are proud to look after our customers new and old by being approachable and by offering a friendly service with free tuition for life on all new sewing machines plus we offer a 5 year guarantee on all new sewing machines. Certain conditions apply. Please ask at the time of purchase.

We stock a wide range of Haberdashery and crafts, some of these items will be added to the website in the coming months along with a range of fabrics and gifts.We are also stockists of Butterick patterns.

When you order any machine online, we are happy to deliver to your home by courier free of charge but alternatively we give you the option to collect from the shop, where we can give you some basic instruction before you take the machine home. This we believe will set you off on the right foot for you to get the best out of your machine.

In fairness to all other Horn Retailers we have agreed with Horn Furniture to limit our area for the free mainland delivery of Horn Cabinets to within 50 miles of our location. Sorry, but Horn Furniture do make a charge for delivering cabinets to the Isle of Wight, but if you live on the island or have a business there you are welcome to collect from our shop if you prefer to avoid any carriage charge. Sewing machines are sent carriage free usually on a next day service.

“We do not supply Janome branded sewing machines or overlockers to customers residing outside the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The warranty on Janome products sold by ourselves is limited to these territories “
